Anouk woke up well this morning after good sleep. Grand, Berine & Nicki came in & they took Anouk outside for a picnic. Catherine hot lucky with one nurse ad the other pointed out the she would not have let her go out!
After that it was time for snooze & when she woke up she wanted to have s POO! As you can imagine after 5 days of no poo she was fairly constapated! After dropping the kids at the pool it was back to snooze ville.
She has been quite alert when not snoozing & all are very happy with the rate of recovery...in fact she is doing better than expected eventhough she wants to snooze a lot. No different to us realy...if we have a realty bad headache all we want to do is roll into ball & sleep. The problem is that that ward we are in is a f....ing mad house at times so some quiet chill out time is virtually impossible.
Rachael has come for a visit with some lovely presents. As you can see Anouk dosen't seem very impressed but were fairly sure she is!
Dr Isabell (Clinical Psycologist) is here making sure we are looking after ourselves & not going round the twist!!!! Good luck.
The current situation is that we are waitng for contact re the pathology report...ie what sort of tumor if is & what the plan of action re chemotherapy will be..at this stage we don't have any idea when that contact will be.
