Apologies you will need to read the post below...".aday at home is getting closer.."before this one to get the story..
As Skip had travelled a long way he asked to have a sleep.

Catherine. & Anouk were also a bit tired & needed a snooze as well..
Aunty Ju & Flora came by so it was another chance to go for a walk.

Nurse Sarah gave Anouk a lesson in glove blowing..

So a very good day was had by all. It will be even better if we can go home in thd morning before coming back wednesday afternoon for the 1st general anasthetic for a lumber puncture & inserting the Hickman Line for the chemotherapy. The MRI had yet to be scheduled....in an ideal world early on Friday & home for the weekend before going to the Marsden Hospital in Sutton on Monday.
You have to love how kids keep things simple...Anouk's cousins don't like the name Marsden so there going to call it the...Mars Bar!
Hi Richie, Catherine, Neavey and little precious Anouk
ReplyDeleteBrenda and Lyle have been keeping us posted on the progress of Anouk. We have read your Blogs and it is great to see Anouk looking so much brighter. Catherine I can't believe the kids were all here playing dress-ups last month and now look were you are. How quickly life can take a turn. I can see you are all keeping your spirits up and we wish you all the very best. We will keep in touch and be thinking of you often. All our love Mandy, Troy and the boys xxx :)
Hey Guys,
ReplyDeleteIt is great to keep reading the updates and we hope that everything goes well for a nice weekend at home. You are all doing an amazing job and it is great to see the photos of Anouk smiling.
I'm worried that you think it's only kids who keep things simple. When AJ was working at the Marsden in Chelsea I kept referring to it as the Mars bar as well. It was so much easier to remember that way!
Our love and thoughts are with you.
Dollo, AJ and Archie.
