Anouk is a little restless & is having trouble going to sleep. She is still having a bad reaction to water going into her tummy so we've given up on that idea for tonight as she is still on morphine & other stuff which could very well be playing havoc with consumption. Her temperature is also slighly high so yep you guessed it...more drugs...but this time via the back door! I don't if anyone noticed on the pics but because of the steriods & extra fluids pumped in she puffed up like Ben Johnson. Thd steriods help to reduce the swelling before the op. They also change sleep & eating patterns. On wed night before the op Anouk was wearing her princess heals dragging Catherine all around the hospital kicking a ball until 1130pm. This included a guided tour of an Ambulance where she was allowed to turn the lights on!
The other slighly worrying thing is that Catherine has started walking around the ward with no pants on..no wonder the kids are having trouble sleeping.
She has now fallen asleep....woohoo time for us to try & do the same.
