3 Days after the op...
Anouk has continued to recover from the op she has reached more milestones - no more morphine, no drip, liquid food via her tube, most of which stayed down and her first off the bed cuddle - blissful for all of us. She also had a visit from big sis who demonstrated remarkable tolerance to abuse from a toddler on steroids!

We absolutely loved spending time with gorgeous neavey today and will hope to be around for her this week as she continues a normal life with school. She seems to be enjoying her stay with mum and dad and the presents, which today included a 4WD Australian animal rescue hospital which nicely married a few familiar themes.

We have been overwhelmed by the material and especially the emotional generosity of folks around us it has really helped us to "keep it" together. We have been boyed by lovely welltimed words which have helped us feel supported, positive and have made us laugh! Huge thanks.
Anouk has just woken after a long afternoon sleep and she seems to be marginally less stroppy than usual...... another milestone? Also she has just gone for her 1st wee in 3 days with no issues at all!
The DVD godess (Caroline) has just arrived with Charlie & Lola, 2 hr cbeebies collection & Angelina Ballerina which, as cbeebies is finished, is in the laptop as we right.
There's a fair bit of nose picking going on as the tube to her tummy us annoying her.
