Anouk's progress has been going so well we probably got lulled into a false sense of security, Today has been fairly tough especially for her, as she has been miserable and drowsy but we have been assured that this is due to swelling post surgery. We are both tired and hence have less capacity to manage our emotions. Seven years ago, we were dancing, feasting & celebrating our marriage under a full moon on our beautiful farm and today we are in Tooting, bedside, eating from trays - feeling rather pathetically sorry for ourselves! HOWEVER.... Anouk is much better this evening, we are not concerned that she is deteriorating - this is just a blip and tomorrow is another day....
Neave has had a great day playing with Ella after school - she seems to be traveling reasonably well so far - thanks to Mum and Dad and supportive friends.
